Though the Fork Preload Adjusters have a 20 mm range of adjustment, some applications will require the stock pre-load spacer be trimmed to prevent coil bind at fork fully compressed. On those applications, the available additional preload (using the stock fork springs & preload spacers) will be reduced, and in some cases eliminated. The forks on the model you have chosen is one of these. Before purchasing these Fork Preload Adjusters it is recommended that you read the installation instructions (B28-3000INS) to determine the amount of additional preload – if any – you will be able to achieve. The installation of Progressive Suspension aftermarket fork springs may allow for additional preload to be achieved, follow the procedure outlined in the installation instructions (B28-3000INS) to determine.
